Droitwich AED is a scheme run by volunteers. We need help to raise funds to enable us to continue to provide free training sessions and to buy defibrillators to be placed around Droitwich for members of the public to use in an emergency.

Every single penny that we raise will be used to help save lives. The following figures provide an indication as to how we spend your money from our fundraising activities:

  • £806.50 would purchase an Automated External Defibrillator
  • £335.00 would purchase an external heated locked cabinet to house it
  • £150.00 is about the cost of electrically installing the heated cabinets.

(Needed to protect the pads against freezing in extreme cold)

  • £300.00 would purchase an AED training unit.
  • £130.00 would purchase a replacement AED battery
  • £ 50 would purchase replacement AED pads.
  • £ 00 is the amount we put aside every month per AED for future battery,

Pad, and AED replacements

  • £ 50 covers the cost of producing and posting certificates.

Droitwich AED Fundraising Group

We are in the process of forming a fundraising group to support Droitwich AED. The group will support us by organising a number of different fundraising activities throughout the year. Most of the money raised by the group will be used to buy and install public access defibrillators. Anyone is welcome to join this group. We are only asking for a time commitment of about 1-2 hours a month. Please contact us if you would like more information about joining our fundraising group.

Organise your own fundraising event

We are also keen to hear from individuals or groups who would like to organise a fundraising event for us.

Please contact us if you would like to organise an event for us as we may be able to provide you with some publicity and general promotional material.

Currently Esso Droitwich and Julie Liggins Ftness, Physique Gym and Bootcamp are all raising money for Community Public Access Defibrillators.

If you shop on line the easiest way to support us and raise funds is to register with and name us as your preferred charity.

Once you’ve done that click on their link to your retailer and shop as normal. It doesn’t cost you a penny more than it would have anyway, but your retailer donates a small percentage of your sale to us!

It’s as easy as that.

If you don’t shop on line, but normally pay in shops with your Debit or Credit Card, then you can still support us through easyfundraising.

Register with, and then securely register your card with them. It doesn’t cost you any more to shop, but your card provider then donates a small percentage of your monthly bill to us – EASY FUNDRAISING!
